Mono PET rigid film for superior sealing performance

kp MonoSeal^® is a mono PET rigid film with enhanced sealing performance that ensures a consistently reliable hermetic seal in challenging fresh food applications such as sliced cheese or sliced processed meat where PET/PE is generally used. Endorsed by Petcore Europe as designed to be recyclable, kp MonoSeal^® is made with up to 80% post-consumer recycled content. It’s an easy drop-in solution for PET form, fill and seal and thermoforming lines that also enables you to reduce your packaging weight by as much as 15%.

kp MonoSeal^® is the first PET rigid film endorsed as recyclable by Petcore and has been evaluated by TCEP (Tray Circularity Evaluation Platform), the recyclability evaluation platform of PETCORE Europe. TCEP’s endorsement confirms it is compatible with readily available sorting and recycling technologies commonly used at industrial scale in the recycling sector in Europe.

RECOUP assisted kp with successful trials to independently demonstrate the detectability of kp Kapture^® coloured trays using existing sorting technology in UK facilities. This ensures the items in the kp Kapture® brand range can sorted effectively and prepared for onward recycling.
