Monday 8 March marks International Women's Day (IWD) 2021. Celebrated for over 100 years, it is a time to recognise the achievements of women and the progress made in terms of gender equality, but it also serves as a reminder of what still needs to be done.

I’m proud to say that I’ve been with kp for over 36 years… and what a journey it’s been. However, my life with Electronics goes further back than that.

kp and me? We go way back! 30 years ago - I was a young Chemical Engineer, focused on my thesis on catalysis for Saragossa University.

I’ve been with kp for 24 years and here’s the best part: I’m still having fun. I’ve progressed further than I imagined with kp - quite literally - by moving to Portugal. I now lead the Operations for five manufacturing sites across Europe.

We extended Operation Clean Sweep®, a global initiative to keep plastic fragments out of the environment, to our site in Portugal.

kp collaborates with governments, industry partners, recyclers, customers and retailers to improve recycling and use more recycled material in packaging.
