The plastic packaging industry has a challenging and exciting journey ahead. From developing innovative new products to collaborating with partners around the world, we need to ensure we’re doing everything we can to create a lasting transformation – for people and the planet.

In our Investing in better, sustainability roadmap, we outline three ambitious targets to hit. One of them is, by 2025 to have 100% of our packaging be recyclable. A major step forward is developing and expanding our kpNext™ family of pharmaceutical films. Moving to a more recyclable solution is a natural fit with our strategic goals.

Today is Global Accessibility Awareness Day. Its aim is to raise awareness for digital access and inclusion of more than one billion people with disabilities worldwide. It also provides us with a time to reflect on the stigma that can surround disabilities and to consider how each of us can advocate for change.

Color combinations are extremely important for a room to flow well and are one of the decisive factors in successful designs. To make color selection easier we have developed an innovative color matrix and arranged them to show how they may be combined with one another. These color harmonies will satisfy the needs of a wide variety of markets and life styles.

My job is to improve the lives of the people who operate the slitting machines by making their work easier. We look at how processes can be changed to make them more efficient.I do a lot of movement studies, tracing out the steps people take as they work, which is a good way of figuring out where the inefficiencies lie.

I’m running the biggest project of my career and one of the most important kp has undertaken – assessing the quality of everything the company does. Every site, every product, everything that goes in and out of those sites. We’re going through all of it to see how good we are. It’s so important to the company’s success because remanufacturing costs are too high and we want to always deliver the best to our customers.
